Our System

Ibon replaces the order ticket printer with versatile and smart screens, which are set up in the kitchen and service counters. These screens are connected to the cash registers and to all ordering interfaces, and can be updated at all times, enabling the team to be more organized and efficient at work, therefore significantly improving customer service.

Transferring the entire service management to digital allowed us to dream big and add a series of advanced technological tools to the system, that will help every restaurateur and manager overcome any operational problem, become more efficient, and increase profit.

The system also includes a smart time and attendance system which also checks and reports on employee efficiency, food safety control, new product feasibility analysis, an advanced management dashboard, and more.

At some point we realized that the system could help not only restaurants and food stalls – but can be helpful in almost any place that has customers standing in line waiting for service, creating a bottleneck.

That’s why these days we are developing dedicated products from the system for 3 additional niches: buffets and dining rooms in hotels, delis and butchers in supermarkets, and lockers for ordering fast food without counter staff.

How it all started

Until a few years ago, Ibon founder was an active franchisor in the restaurant industry. He realized quite quickly that working with paper order tickets without digitization makes every service inconvenient and nerve-wracking, and as a result damaging service and profitability.

That’s how he developed the first prototype for Ibon, which replaces the order ticket printer with digital screens.

The difference was felt immediately: work was more organized, the service was better and the transition to screens allowed him as a restaurateur to be hands-on and understand what was happening at the restaurant, at any given moment.

Not much time passed and a leading coffee shop chain expressed interest and introduced Ibon as a pilot in three flagship branches, which was soon expanded to eighteen.

Following this, several other chains started their own pilot. All this time, as we go along, we continue to upgrade the system’s features and user experience in order to provide managers with maximum insights and practical tools with minimal effort on their part.

Today, the product is in regular use in several leading chains in the Quick Service industry.
